GHMC to keep drop boxes at electronics showrooms for collection of e-waste

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is conducting another big drive, titled e-Waste Ecosystem, for collection of electronic waste from across the city, by installing drop boxes inside the outlets of select electronic retailing brands.

A total 30 uniformly designed drop boxes will be set up at retail shops of BigC, BNew, Happi, LOT, Sangeetha Mobiles, Celekt and Touch. Citizens will be provided a QR code for getting information about these drop points.
