A cochlear implant surgery was successfully performed on four-year-old Angelo who was born without hearing ability, under the ‘Kaathodu Kaathoram’ project, jointly implemented by Care and Share International Foundation led by actor Mammootty and Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva. The initiative supports children from financially disadvantaged families by providing cochlear implant surgeries, according to a communication. The procedure was led by Dr. Rajesh Raju George, head of ENT department, Rajagiri Hospital.
