CMC organises awareness campaign in Vellore

The Christian Medical College Hospital organised a two-day public health awareness campaign on heat-related illness, which concluded at its campus in Vellore on Tuesday.

According to a press release, P. Prathap Kumar, City Health Officer, Vellore City Corporation, inaugurated the campaign. He highlighted the importance of prevention as a primary strategy to reduce heat-related illness. He appreciated the idea of a task force in prevention, preparedness, and implementation of strategies to tackle heat-related illness.
