Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Deputy Floor Leader in the Assembly and former Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao on Tuesday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of spreading misinformation on Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP) and failing to deliver on key poll promises. Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Mr. Rao took strong objection to Mr. Reddy’s comments against the BRS party and its supremo and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. “The Chief Minister resorted to “competitive and disruptive politics,” including scheduling a parallel meeting in the erstwhile Karimnagar district,” he said referring to the Chief Minister’s meeting at Nasturpally in Kataram mandal, while KCR addressed a rally in Jagtial on Monday.
