Belagavi-based wildlife conservationist Giridhar Kulkarni has appealed to the State government to provide cashless treatment to victims of wildlife attacks, on the lines of the one for snakebite victims.

In a letter to Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden Kumar Pushkar, Mr. Kulkarni has urged the State government to establish a streamlined cashless medical treatment facility for those injured in attacks by wild animals across the State.
