Parents of a missing blogger have sought the intervention of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha to trace their son, who has been unaccounted for over the past seven days. Pranab Das, 23, a resident of Malaya Nagar Nepali Para under the Srinagar police station limits in West Tripura district, has remained untraced since January 3. The family said on Saturday (January 10, 2026) that they approached the Chief Minister after the police failed to make any breakthrough. A missing complaint was lodged with the Srinagar police station after Mr. Das was found incommunicado. A B.Com student and travel blogger, he had reportedly informed his family about a possible trip to Nagaland, though they were unsure whether he had actually travelled. His mobile phone has remained switched off since then.
