Telangana BJP leaders continued their attack on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over his proposal to include Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in the delimitation process, accusing him of indulging in “false propaganda” and “misleading the public” by claiming it could create inequalities between southern and northern States. Addressing the media at the State BJP office on Tuesday, after paying floral tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, party president N. Ramchander Rao said that census and delimitation were two distinct constitutional processes that were being deliberately conflated by leaders like Mr. Revanth Reddy to ‘confuse’ people.
