MOORTHY All the nine Assembly constituencies in Tiruchi district have recorded a sharp increase in voter turnout in comparison to the 2021 Assembly elections. The district had recorded 85.42 % polling with 18,33,949 out of the total 21,47,051 voters exercising their franchise in the Assembly polls on Thursday, according to the final figures released by the district authorities on Friday. All the nine constituencies in the district registered over 80% polling and some constituencies saw more than 10% spike in polling.
