Both projects will be undertaken on land owned by New Mangalore Port Authority. | Photo Credit: MANJUNATH HS The New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) will develop the main road leading to Baikampady Industrial Area from the National Highway 66 (from Jokatte Junction), and it will also build a truck terminal at a total cost of about ₹10 crore, according to Mangaluru City North MLA Y. Bharat Shetty. Dr. Shetty released a video statement in which he informed that the terminal will be built at a cost of about ₹5 crore while a 500-metre concrete road will be laid at a cost of about ₹5 crore.
