A 22-year-old woman attacked over financial dispute

A 22-year-old young woman was allegedly attacked with a knife, sustaining cut injuries, near Vadasery on Saturday over a financial dispute.

According to police, the victim B. Krishnapriya, 22 from Aruguvilai near Vadaseri was reportedly alone at her residence when her father’s friend John Bakir Ali, 51, of Vadasery, arrived and demanded money that he had lent to her father. Krishnapriya asked him to collect the amount from her parents and requested him to leave.
