SIVA SARAVANAN Linking women’s reservation with delimitation as part of the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill, 2026, is “unconstitutional” and “undemocratic,” said G. Ramakrishnan, Control Commission Chairperson of the CPI(M), in an interview with The Hindu in Udhagamandalam on Sunday. Mr. Ramakrishnan, who was in the Nilgiris to support the candidacy of the Congress and DMK candidates contesting in Udhagamandalam and Coonoor, said all the opposition parties had demanded that women’s reservation and delimitation be drafted as separate Bills.
