Relatives and friends of two people accused of armed robbery made an attempt to assault a team of Belagavi police officers in Kolhapur of Maharashtra on Tuesday. A team of officers led by Police Inspector Vishwanath Chougala from Sadalaga Police Station had taken Dhiraj Walvalkar and Ravi Sonar to Shivaji Nagar in Kolhapur for Mahazar in a criminal case.
