The police have registered a case against two men, including a local Congress functionary, for allegedly duping a woman of ₹4.8 lakh, promising to get her a government job. Police sources said the complainant, Ramani, 41, of MKB Nagar, had quit her job as a teacher in April 2024. She then began looking for a government job.
