Labour Minister and district in-charge Santosh Lad chairing a KDP progress review meeting in Dharwad on Monday. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Directing tahsildars and taluk panchayat executive officers to continuously monitor the water supply situation in their respective areas, Labour Minister and district in-charge Santosh Lad has told the officials to ensure that no village or town in the district faces shortage of drinking water until summer ended. Chairing a progress review meeting under Karnataka Development Programmes (KDP) in Dharwad on Monday, Mr. Lad pointed out that drinking water is being supplied through 17 borewells in 15 villages across various taluks.
