Ebindas has delivered five assists so far this ISL season. | Photo Credit: R. K. Nithin In what has been a challenging ISL campaign for Kerala Blasters FC, Ebindas Yesudasan has shone like a beacon. In the 2-1 victory over Odisha FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi last week, Ebindas delivered yet another assist, his fifth of the season. The 21-year-old midfielder came off the bench midway through the second half and in the fourth minute of stoppage time, he whipped in a cross off a corner, which was headed in by fellow substitute Matias Hernandez for the winning goal. The win was Blasters’ second at home in a tough run which has seen the sacking of a coach, boycott from home fans and a real fear of relegation.
