The 24X7 ambulance service, which has been attending to snakebite cases, is flooded with distress calls. Ever since the government issued an advisory urging people to call KANIV 108 immediately in the event of a snakebite, the ambulance service’s phone lines have been ringing off the hook. On average, around 90 snakebite calls are being handled a day.
