Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and other dignitaries. | Photo Credit: ANI The Centenary Celebrations of Andhra University (1926–2026), themed “Century of Excellence… Paving Path to the Future,” were held at the College of Engineering grounds on Monday. Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan, the chief guest, described the university as “a melting pot of ideas” that had nurtured generations who contributed to the nation. Recalling the legacy of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, he said, “The philosopher-statesman’s vision of education continues to shape both intellect and character.” He noted that Andhra Pradesh was emerging as a preferred destination for investment, with Visakhapatnam poised to become a hub for data centres, information technology and digital infrastructure.
