The most-anticipated infrastructure project, the Mumbai-Pune Missing Link, reducing the travel time by half an hour, is all set to be inaugurated on May 1, which is commemorated as Maharashtra Day.

The distance will also be reduced to 13.3 km after the construction of the new missing link between Mumbai and Pune on the Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai-Pune Expressway. According to Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) officials, the road will bring relief to commuters from the congestion at Khandala Ghat.
