Minister for Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh | Photo Credit: File photo Minister for Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh has said that tent cities will be set up at 21 temples along the banks of the river Godavari to accommodate devotees during the Godavari Pushkarams 2027. The tent city proposed on Bridge Lanka island in Rajamahendravaram is expected to be the largest, and is being developed as part of the ongoing Godavari Riverfront Project. In an official release, Mr. Durgesh said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved the proposal to establish tent cities along the riverbanks for the Pushkarams.
