Raising ‘SaveKBR’ slogans, demonstrators alleged that the project threatens the city’s “last green lung” and is being pushed forward without adequate legal and environmental scrutiny. Several protesters held placards reading ‘The H-CITI project fails the law’ and ‘This isn’t development, this is destruction’.
