Cordon and search conducted as part of Op Vajraprahar in Anantapur

Cordon and Search Operations were held across the district as part of Operation Vajraprahar on Saturday with the objective of curbing transportation, sale and consumption of drugs.

During the operation, police officers, personnel and special teams conducted extensive searches in identified “hotspot” areas. Inspections were carried out on vehicles parked in various localities and residential colonies. The records and documents of two-wheelers, auto-rickshaws, cars and other vehicles were scrutinized and vehicles found with improper or missing documentation were seized.
