The Annamayya district administration has intensified steps to curb drug abuse, with District Collector Nishant Kumar urging officials to move beyond routine measures and adopt a more strategic and coordinated approach. Addressing a review meeting on “Drugs Vaddu Bro” initiative with officials of the police, Revenue, Excise, Medical, and Health departments here on Saturday, the Collector highlighted the growing need to sensitise the youth and students about the dangers of narcotics.
