The estimate has been prepared on the basis of a survey assessing demolition costs and the valuation of saleable debris.Fort Kochi division councillor Shiny Mathew has written to the Corporation seeking demolition of the theatre, located on civic body-owned land, citing public safety concerns. The survey pegged the demolition cost at ₹4.50 lakh while valuing the saleable debris at ₹14.03 lakh.
