Chandrababu Naidu has outlined a comprehensive and forward-looking roadmap to transform the State’s agriculture sector, with a sharp focus on enhancing farmer incomes, promoting sustainability, and leveraging technology-driven solutions. At a review meeting on Agriculture and allied sectors on Friday, the Chief Minister stressed the need to shift towards high-demand and high-value crops. Lay emphasis on value addition in agriculture, particularly for crops like fig, suggesting processing into dry fruits to enhance market value. Encourage promotion of high-value crops such as avocado, guava, jackfruit, and pepper, he said.
