Posters of Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha have come up across the State as she prepares to launch her new political party on Saturday, in Munirabad, Medchal. | Photo Credit: NAGARA GOPAL Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao, is set to launch her own political party on Saturday, to script an independent political journey. The name for the party doing the rounds is Telangana Prajavikas Samiti – which appears anything but accidental. It echoes the historic Telangana Praja Samiti, which spearheaded the 1969 Telangana agitation and went on to win 10 Lok Sabha seats, while also resonating with the original identity of the TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi), founded by Mr. Rao.
