Sivaganga district records 76.59% voter turnout in 2026 Assembly elections

Sivaganaga district recorded a voter turnout of 76.59% in the recently concluded polling for the 2026 Assembly Election. This marked an increase of 3.89% from the 2021 Assembly Elections.

While Karaikudi constituency with highest number of electorates, 3,05,925 voters – 1,49,286 male, 1,56,610 female and 29 third gender voters– recorded 74.20% votes, Manamadurai (SC) constituency with the least electorates (2,59,382) – 1,27,349 male,1,32,026 female and seven third gender voters – recorded a poll percentage of 79.11%.
