Featuring a mostly local lineup, the shows also bring in rising talents such as Chennai’s Perception Delta alongside seasoned Mumbai alt/prog rock band Coshish. “If there is a prog haven in India, for us it is undoubtedly Bengaluru,” says Prog Encounters founder Avishek Dasgupta, who is also vocalist of The Pulse Theory performing on Day Two. The organiser says they have changed a few things for this series, which had hosted local editions in Pune and Mumbai earlier in April.
