The government has designed a roadmap to transform the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) into a modern, electric mobility-driven public transport system.

The transition will be carried out through the gradual replacement of ageing diesel buses and deployment of modern electric fleets to make operations sustainable and cost-effective, while reducing fuel costs and improving environmental performance across services.
