Jothi Ramalingam Free transport facilities have been arranged for persons with disabilities and senior citizens in the city, enabling them to cast their vote in person on polling day. Eligible voters can avail themselves of the service by registering through the Saksham app or by contacting the district helpline 1950 or the control room at 1800-425-7012. Comprehensive poll preparedness is in place across the 4,085 polling stations in 975 polling station locations, strictly adhering to the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, said Katta Ravi Teja, Additional District Election Officer, Greater Chennai Corporation.
