Dry Day for three days in southern districts

The District Collectors-cum-District Election Officers have announced the closure of Tasmac shops for three days from April 21 to 23 in view of the polling to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.

According to a press release issued on Sunday, all the Tasmac outlets would remain closed on the above dates. Sale of liquor would be prohibited. The authorities concerned should ensure that the outlets are shut and compliance report should be submitted. The authorities should step up surveillance during the above dates and deploy adequate security arrangements in the respective jurisdiction.
