Ashok Postal voting for police personnel and other department officials, who are employed in essential services and engaged in election duty, began on Saturday. Necessary arrangements were made at the facilitation centres across the 10 Assembly constituencies in the district to ensure that the officials cast their votes adhering to the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India. District Collector K.J. Praveen Kumar inspected the arrangements made at these centres and the voting process.
