The BJP and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will continue to fight for the rights of women, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Coimbatore on Saturday (April 18, 2025).

Speaking at a public meeting, campaigning for 23 candidates of the NDA contesting from Coimbatore, Tiruppur, and the Nilgiris districts, he said that in 2023, the Union government passed the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, or the Women’s Reservation Act.
