A security guard was found murdered inside the premises of an abandoned school in Thatchur, near Ponneri on Friday. The police suspect that he was killed in a possible robbery attempt. The murder occurred within the limits of a police station where Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was scheduled to arrive by helicopter for a campaign.
