Officials seized silver ornaments weighing about 10 grams worth ₹30,000 and around 350 grams of rolled gold items from his possession. The accused, identified as 25-year-old Mohammed Muzammil, was apprehended on Friday, April 17, in connection with a theft case registered at the railway police station. His associate, 21-year-old Varthyavath Ammu alias Tharun, is currently absconding.
