The State Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has introduced a key change in the results format for First-Year Intermediate students this year, aimed at bringing greater clarity to score calculation. In a statement, the Board said that marks obtained in additional subjects will no longer be added to the total marks secured by a student. Instead, these marks will be shown separately in the marks memo and will not be counted in the overall total. This means that while students will continue to receive marks for additional subjects, these will not influence their aggregate score.
