Six districts in Telangana are forecast to experience heatwave alert on Wednesday (April 15, 2026), as per India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad Centre’s forecast | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert for multiple parts of Telangana from April 14 and 18, warning of a gradual rise in maximum temperatures across the State over the coming days. As per IMD, the maximum temperatures are expected to increase by 2°C to 3°C over the next three days. According to IMDs latest bulletin, heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets in Adilabad, Nirmal and Nizamabad districts on Tuesday (April 14, 2026).
