Gold ornaments weighing 24 overeigns were stolen from the house of a teacher in Valliyoor on Wednesday. Police said unidentified persons stole the gold jewellery from the house of Rozario of Ramalakshmi Nagar, when he and his wife Sahaya Eugene Shanthi, a teacher, had gone out on Wednesday. When the couple returned, they found the gold ornaments stolen from their home.
