Kaka (a) Karnas, the main accused in the rape and murder of a nine-year-old girl produced in the special court in Puducherry on April 30, 2026 | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Special Judge of Fast Track Court M.D. Sumathi, on Thursday (April 30, 2026), found the lone surviving accused Kaka alias Karnas guilty of all charges in the sensational case of rape and murder of a nine-year-old girl in 2024 in Puducherry. The judge found the accused guilty of charges including gang rape, murder, kidnapping, and under other relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Later, she posted the case to May 5 for sentencing of the accused.
