YSR Congress party General Secretary (Media Wing) Pudi Srihari. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) alleged that its Media Wing General Secretary, Pudi Srihari, was detained by the police near the residence of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Tadepalli in Guntur district. In a statement, the party said police officials took Srihari into custody without prior notice and seized his laptop and mobile phone. The party said authorities had not initially disclosed his whereabouts, raising questions over transparency and civil liberties.
