Worker falls from first floor at construction site, dies

A 40-year-old construction worker died after falling from the first floor of an under-construction building at Gundla Pochampally on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Tulasi Lakshman Rao, sustained a severe head injury after accidently slipping while securing bamboo scaffolding to the structure at the Urjitha Golden Leaf site around 2.30 p.m. He was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
