Giri Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission Chairperson Rayapati Sailaja on Wednesday visited Nori Rama Sastry Government Ayurvedic College in Vijayawada following a complaint received via email alleging sexual harassment of female students by members of the faculty. Ms. Sailaja interacted separately with students and faculty to ascertain the facts. Speaking to the media later, she said a student had written to the Commission alleging sexual harassment and pointed out that the inquiry conducted by the college management was not carried out properly.
