Mamata Gatty, chairperson of Karnataka Cashew Development Corporation, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi linked women’s reservation with delimitation and Census with political motives. Hence the Bill got defeated. “Women are definitely sad over politicisation of women’s reservation,” she said.
