Vijayawada rallies for peace amid global conflicts

Amid rising global tensions, Vijayawada witnessed a strong display of unity as people from diverse sections participated in a peace rally opposing war. Organised by the Peace Forum Vijayawada, the rally reflected concerns over ongoing conflicts, including the Ukraine-Russia war and unrest in West Asia.

Citizens, including students, intellectuals, voluntary groups, and religious leaders, raised slogans such as “No War – Peace is Sweet.” Holding white flags and placards, they expressed solidarity with affected nations and called for dialogue over violence.
