BADIGER The Karnataka Valmiki Samaj Samana Manaskara Vedike and the ST Valmiki Yuva Ghataka have urged the Union government to protect the increase in quantum of reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and OBCs communities by including it in the Ninth Schedule of the Constitution. “If our demand is not fulfilled by the end of May, we will launch a State-wide agitation against the Union government,” the former MP V.S. Ugrappa said in Belagavi on Tuesday.
