The Standard, a US-based insurance, retirement and investment products provider, opened its global capability centre (GCC) at Embassy Tech Village in Devarabisanahalli in the outskirts of Bengaluru on Tuesday.

This 60,000-sq. ft. facility will employ 175 technology professionals to develop technologies and platforms for a range of voluntary benefits products, aimed at supporting The Standard’s 20 million customers throughout the United States.
