TNSTC to operate special buses to clear holiday rush

Shunchonngam Jatak Chiru, Secretary, Transport Department, on Saturday asked the officials of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam) Ltd. to operate sufficient buses to clear the extra rush of passengers, who are returning to Chennai and other cities after casting votes.

Presiding over a review meeting with the officials of the department here, Mr. Chiru said people, who had come to their native places from Chennai and other cities to cast vote, would return to their respective workplaces.
