Thrissur Pooram concludes with ‘Upacharam Cholli Piriyal’ ritual

The 2026 edition of Thrissur Pooram concluded with the ‘Upacharam Cholli Piriyal’ ritual on Monday, marking an end to the 36-hour cultural and religious celebrations.

The idols of the Thiruvambady and Paramekkavu temples were ceremoniously taken back to their respective temples, marking the festival’s end. Deities said goodbye to people with a promise to meet next year.
