Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav participating in the ‘Brahma Rathotsavam’ at Sri Lakshmi Chennakesava Swamy temple in Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district on Wednesday. | Photo Credit: HANDOUT The annual ‘Brahmarathotsavam’ of Sri Lakshmi Chennakesava Swamy temple here on Wednesday witnessed a congregation of thousands of devotees from across Anantapur, Sri Sathya Sai districts, and several parts of Karnataka. Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Satya Kumar Yadav, offered special prayers to the presiding deity at the temple and participated in the festivities. The Minister presented silk robes to the deity and inaugurated a newly built ‘Vrata Mandapam’, constructed at a cost of ₹25 lakh inside the temple complex. He later joined devotees in dragging the temple chariot, one of the most anticipated and crowded rituals of the festival.
