The maximum temperature in all 33 districts was above 41°C, and over 44°C was recorded in 10 districts on Thursday (April 16, 2026). On Thursday, the highest of 44.4°C was recorded in Jagtial (Dharmapuri mandal). This was followed by 44.3°C in six districts — Adilabad (Bela mandal), Kumaram Bheem Asifabad (Bejjur), Mancherial (Jannaram),Nalgonda (Devarkonda), Nirmal(Nirmal Rural) and Nizamabad (Armur). And, 44.1°C was recorded in three districts — Kamareddy (Birkoor mandal), Karimnagar (Manakondur) and Siddipet (Bejjanki). The maximum temperature between 43°C and 44°C was recorded in 10 districts, according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather report issued on Friday.
