Teachers staging a dharna under the leadership of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union Andhra Pradesh (PRTU-A.P.) seeking resolution of their legitimate demands at Prakasam Bhavan in Ongole on Tuesday. | Photo Credit: KOMMURI SRINIVAS The members of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union Andhra Pradesh (PRTU-A.P.) have submitted a petition to the State government seeking immediate resolution of their legitimate demands. Along with the local teachers, they staged a protest at Prakasam Bhavan in Ongole on Tuesday. Speaking to the media about their demands, PRTU Prakasam district president Narahari Anjireddy said, “Service rules should be formulated for teachers across the State. A new Pay Revision Committee (PRC) should be formed and 30 per cent interim relief should be granted.
